The Maintenance Series, Vol. 1

On Saturday Oct 26 we held the first in The Maintenance Series of improvised musical performances. Curator Wilson Novitzki invited saxophonist Matt Nelson and drummer Reed Stewart; Novitzki played guitar and synthesizer. The latter two have played together extensively, but neither had ever met Nelson before the set. The three musicians played in various solo, duo and trio contexts, as the mood struck them.
